Carpentry Workshop Area
During the WoodTech trade fair, taking place from 17 to 19 March, a special Carpentry Workshop Zone will be set up, where visitors will be able to see woodworking up close and learn the basics of the carpentry trade. The workshops are organised by the Narzedzioholicy.pl website, publisher of “The Tools” magazine.
The aim of the event is to promote woodworking, foster a passion for DIY, and champion a craft-based career path that combines traditional skills with modern technologies and tools.Special guests at the workshops will be pupils and teachers from the Wood and Forestry School Complex in Garbatka-Letnisko – one of Poland’s most renowned schools training future carpenters, wood technology technicians and specialists in the timber industry. For years, the school has combined theory with practice, and its students gain experience in professional carpentry workshops as well as through numerous industry competitions and projects.
The event will also be graced by the presence of Mariusz Płoński, the founder and run of the WarsztART workshop – a woodworking enthusiast and promoter of craftsmanship. In his workshop, he combines craftsmanship with art, and his pieces are handcrafted in a small workshop. His brand, WarsztART, represents more than just traditional carpentry; it is a love of wood, the joy of creation and humour, and above all, a way of life.
Carpentry Workshop Zonewill be a meeting place for woodworking enthusiasts, professionals and those just starting out on their journey into the craft. Visitors will be able to watch demonstrations of tools in use, chat with practitioners and see what a modern artisan woodworking workshop looks like.
