Wood Tech Expo with answers to industry challenges. The success of the third edition

On March 5-7, 2024, the third edition of Wood Tech Expo, a substantive international trade fair for wood processing and furniture production technologies, took place at Ptak Warsaw Expo. This event integrated industry representatives looking for answers to the challenges of the dynamically changing sector.

9773 visitors, 160 companies presenting their offers across 25,000 square meters at Ptak Warsaw Expo, dedicated to the development of the wood processing technology and furniture production industry – this is what the third edition of Wood Tech Expo looked like in numbers. It opened the participants to international contracts through the presence of foreign contractors, who constituted … a percentage of the visitors. These statistics show how the event is gaining recognition with each edition. Comparing the data from 2022, we can already talk about several dozen percent increases every year.

These numbers are important because they show that an international trading platform is what this industry needs. Additionally, trust in Wood Tech Expo is also growing thanks to acquiring only the highest quality partners and leader companies operating in the sector.

This year, they included BizeA, Polska Grupa CNC, FELDER GROUP, HOMAG, ITA Maszyny i Narzędzia, STURMER, TEKNIKA and INFOTEC CNC. However, there were many more reliable and innovative exhibitors.

Wood Tech Expo with answers to industry challenges

Events organized at Ptak Warsaw Expo have a dominant emphasis on industry education. It was similar in the case of Wood Tech Expo, during which the Woodworking Industry Congress was held. In one place and time, visitors could acquire valuable leads and expand the group of business clients, as well as update the knowledge base and meet valuable experts who take their business to a higher level.

During the event, specialists discussed, among others, the changes affecting the sector. Piotr Poziomski, president of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of the Wood Industry, spoke about them. Mateusz Dryjer, managing director of SPECBUD, gave a lecture on robotization in the production of pallets, and Dominik Walaszek from AGGE talked about robotization of solid furniture production on the example of MARDOM. There was also a lecture on Polish systems for optimizing wood production (Grzegorz Kotnarowski), as well as a debate “The future of the furniture industry – opportunities and threats”, which was divided into the sectors of competitiveness, human resources and automation, and export.

The thematic cross-section of the Woodworking Industry Congress was therefore broad and met the needs of contemporary enterprises operating in the industry. This is because Ptak Warsaw Expo always focuses on searching for substantive solutions to optimize business.

4-6.03.2025 - the next edition of Wood Tech Expo will take place.
